The scene right is the Duckflat shed last night.
Today two PDRs are in the back of the Duckflat van ready to go to Goolwa.
Just a normal Japanese van fits two PDRs EASILY.
So we are heading down the road about 60km to the river port of Goolwa - the site of the South Australian Wooden Boat Show.
We will be rendezvousing with Peter Hyndman with the two boats that have made the much bigger trip from Queensland.
Three days of sailing and talking boats not to mention sailing and lots of pics of the PDRS on the water and in groups.
(Well I'm happy about that!)

Queensland PDRs on way to Australian National Champs
Just received an email from Peter Hydndman who is bringing his two PDRs down to Adelaide for the inaugeral National Titles. It's real!
He and his wife Jo are driving over 1300 miles to join other owners of PDRs at the South Australian Wooden Boat and Music Festival.
All very exciting - as is his trailer setup. (Pic Right)
It has to be good - he is crossing desert, dry river beds and all sorts of obstructions to get there.
Here is his parting email
The boats are on the trailer, the spars on the roof, now all we have to do is pack the tent and fill up with petrol..... and drive for a week or so!
More details of the trailer coming to a thread near you!
Cheers,
P
Sailing starts in a week and I (and my trusty team) have three boats to paint, masts to drill and then boats to rig.
Ain't it grand!
